The project has placed the building on a steep sloped wooded area, by adopting a planivolumetric scheme consistent with the environmental and orographic features of the place and implementing a transformation process apt to capture and preserve the environmental potential. The building lies on the slopes: it penetrates as far as possible into the soil to reduce its environmental impact and develops in height while gradually setting back along the hilly profile.
The place’s shape becomes the artefact’s shape, in a symbiotic relationship that will allow the surrounding greenery to regain possession of the place. The evergreen climbing plants, hanging from flower boxes placed all along the terraces, will become the main composition material, which gives this building a unique identity.
