Houses in Lecco

The building fits in an urban context densely built up during ‘ 60s/ ’70s, which has restricted the size of the building lot by limiting its volumetric scheme. We have thus sought a greater movement in the facades composition, by designing deep terraces protruding from the wall perimeter, which created marked chiaroscuro effects. A system of movable screens, not only implements a more energy efficient building climate control but further enhance the facades rythmics.
