Cerruti 1881 design concept
Milan – Italy
Completed: 2003, with Morten Christensen and Guido Camandona
The study of the new Design Concept for Cerruti 1881 stores identified two design hypotheses for the format itself. The first, while presenting a new image, maintains and incorporates some elements already existing in the stores (flooring, shop windows…). The second appears more radical in the definition of the image. In both proposals, the elements of recognizability of the format are present, both with reference to functional and distributional aspects and to the definition of perceptual elements identifying the clothing lines.
